In Sickness and in Health

Hi there,

Joshua at the hospital with a PVC in his head

Joshua at the hospital with a PVC in his head

These past months we had at least one sick child. Unfortunately Joshua got so sick that he was admitted to the hospital last week. We spent 4 days there and although he is not completely healed, he is doing better and the doctors were confident they can send him home with some medicine. He still coughs forcefully a lot, but I believe he is doing better over all.
He also started losing a significant amount of weight about a week and a half ago, please pray that the doctors will find the reason behind his weight loss (so far they don’t know the reason). Please also pray for wisdom for us to know what to do to help him. We trust and know that God is in control.

Both girls had to take several rounds of antibiotics these past months, but thankfully both of them are good right now, and they are able to attend pre-school and school.

I am tired, not in the best mood recently, and clueless as to how to help Joshua. It’s not easy right now. But we trust in a God who is Creator of heaven and earth, who is Almighty, who is able to do anything He wants to do, who is in control of everything, including my children’s lives. We can always turn to Him and we know He listens.

On a brighter note:
Amy turned 7 years a week ago, she is extremely happy she is no longer 6. 🙂 This was her first birthday in Hungary, and my parents made it very special by throwing her a party at their place. She was so excited!

We are thankful for you, your prayers, and your support. Thank you for being part of what we do here, in Hungary!
