Family Time

Dear Friends,

We had a very good winter break. The kids got some games from my siblings and we played lots of games with them. I love playing board and card games with the kids. We also got some puzzles (also a family favorite). Even JJ can do puzzles up to 60 pieces.

We didn’t go anywhere, it was very restful, which we honestly needed. My dad was able to come for a few hours and spend some time with us. We celebrated Christmas by talking about what we celebrate, why that’s important, read the birth of Jesus from the Bible, watched the movie “The Star”, and spent lots of time together.
We got sick during break (all but Chris), but it wasn’t horrible since we got to rest.

School started back up, Joshua is going to preschool, the girls are going to school (they are both fully vaccinated), and JJ is home with me, or comes with me to the office when I work from there. He really misses Josh and the girls during school time, and I remember the same was true to Josh when he wasn’t going to preschool yet. Soon enough JJ will be able to attend preschool as well, and hopefully he will love it as much as I think he will.

(Sidenote: In Hungary preschool is free and required from age 3. They spend 3 years there and then go to school (first grade) at age 6.)

We appreciate prayers for good amount of sleep for mainly the boys and us. The girls are sleeping well. 🙂
