Finishing Well

Dear Friends,

campWe are in week 6 of our camp season, one more week to go. We have had over 700 campers so far, many decisions were made for Christ, many dedications, and most importantly, all these campers heard the Gospel clearly several times! Most of our staff is getting tired, but we often say it’s the good kind of tired. Please pray for renewed strength for our staff, as we want to finish well. Next week will be our last week of camps this summer, but it will be the first week of (our) camp for many if not all of our campers, so we want to make sure they feel and know how much we love them and give our all to bring glory to Him.

We had some great Bible teachers these past weeks, it is such a privilege to be able to go in to Bible hour each day and listen to these men share from God’s Word. Many of them have different styles, but all of them talk about our great God. How wonderful to know that hundreds of Hungarian kids get to learn about God through our camps. Many come from Christian families and can deepen their faith here, but many come from families who don’t know the Lord. Each year we here stories of campers getting saved at Word of Life and going back to their families, sharing their faith with them, and their parents, siblings trust Jesus. I can’t think of anything more humbling than to know God is using us to His glory! What an Almighty God we serve!

Thank you so much for your prayers, please also pray for the Bible Institute staff who prepare for the coming BI year. As we want to finish well the camp season, we also want to start well the Bible School season. 🙂
