Dear Friends,
Camp starts this Sunday and both of our girls are going to be campers the first week of camp. We are very excited and so are they!
The camp’s theme this year is Jungle, I cannot wait to see all the decoration! I am sure it will be a lot of fun!
We weren’t sure if camps will be allowed or not this summer due to the pandemic), and not only is it allowed, but we can have all 7 weeks! The camp team made several changes to ensure the kids’ safety, such as “drive-through registration”, limited number of campers each week, outside meetings as much as possible, etc., but we are able to have camps and we pray many lives will be changed!
17 years ago I was one of those lives. Camp has such an important place in my heart, since this is where I got saved and where I spend over 10 summers of my life serving.
Chris is going to be teaching English throughout the 7 weeks, please pray for him as it is new territory for him. As I mentioned in my previous post, we hope to have the girls help him teach. They are very excited to spend time with daddy in a special way.
We are expecting around 110 kids each week (that’s the limit the camp team decided on due to the pandemic). Please pray for their salvation, dedication, and safety. Please also pray for unity among the staff.
