Dear Friends,
We had a wonderful month! End of July the kids spent two weekends at my parents place, which gave Chris and I some time to rest and the kids got to spend time with the grandparents. Win-win. 😀
Also end of July, Chris’ mom came to visit! We are so happy she made it here and are able to spend a month with us. This is her first time seeing JJ and Benjamin in person, and first time seeing the other kids in person after 4 years. Joshua was just 6 months old when she was last here.
This is her third week here and she was able to do very many things with the kids already. She reads a lot to them, plays games with them, watches movies with the girls at night once the boys are asleep, and goes on walks with them. All the kids love having Néni (Karen) with us, including Benjamin. 🙂
She even got to go to the Circus with the girls and Chris. After the circus, they went to check out the new playground at Városliget. It’s huge and very cool. They made many wonderful memories that day.
We are all very happy it’s still summer break, and are going to enjoy Karen for another week before she heads home to see her other grandkids.
The end of August the kids are planning on spending a long weekend at my parents house before school starts. Both the girls and the boys are excited to go back to school and preschool. They miss their teachers and friends.
