Almost at the Finish Line

Dear Friends,

We are super excited to report that our house renovation may be done in a month! Our hope is that the next time you read our new family blog post, we will include pictures of the done house. Would you please pray that if God wills we would be able to move in soon? We cannot wait!!!

They both met Joshua for the first time! Néni (a.k.a. Grandma) played with the kids, read to them, talked to them, and spoiled them. 🙂 We are very thankful they were here!

I had a couple of doctor’s appointments recently (ultrasound and consultation) and they confirmed I had gall stones and that my gall bladder will need to be taken out. I’ve been experiencing a great amount of pain a few times this year, and I am ready for my gall bladder to be removed. Please pray that the surgery may go well, and that if God wills I would be able to nurse Joshua after the surgery. I am scheduled to have the surgery on June 19.

Amy will finish first grade in 2 months, Haley will finish her first year of pre-school, and Joshua is growing and developing each day. We love seeing the changes in our children and while there are days when we feel tired and overwhelmed, their sweet spirits often melt our hearts. We are grateful for all three of them.

Chris still feels that his narcolepsy medicine and restless leg syndrome medicine work well. He’s been very busy all month and has not been too tired most days. We are extremely thankful that he is able to take medicine that works! Thank you for your prayers!

God bless!
